Boone Location: The Office of Access & Equity will operate remotely Tuesday, December 17, 2024 - December 20, 2024. Zoom Drop-In 9:00 am-12:00 pm Zoom Drop-In 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. The University will be closed for winter break December 23, 2024 through January 2, 2025.
The Disability Resources (ODR) unit of Access & Equity is the designated office at Appalachian State University for promoting equity, access, and civil rights based on a disability. ODR oversees access needs, applicable University resources/supports, and eligibility of appropriate accommodations (adjustments, auxiliary aids/services and reasonable modifications) based on disability for students and visitors. ODR is also responsible for oversight of accessibility of programs, services and activities; disability compliance requirements; and the facilitation of removing existing disability-related barriers within the built environment.
